Intimate International Wedding In The Hidden Valley | Stellenbosch | Manar and Hussain

We can't be sure but Manar and Hussain's wedding at Hidden Valley Wine Estate must certainly be one of the most international weddings we have ever covered.  Guests from Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Canada, America and too many other places to remember. This is of course fitting of a couple with a very international story.  Manar is from Eritrea, Hussain is from Palestine and they both met at Stanford, and they both speak a number of languages including French. This was a wedding full of eclectic tastes, sounds and people.  Great pictures just happen with this combination. 

We have said it many times before, intimate weddings are wonderful to photograph and are of course even better to attend as a guest. They have the feeling of a large dinner party and the smaller group usually has a better chance to mingle and make the most of the good company they find themselves in. This was even more evident with such an international crowd who were soaking up every aspect of the day and the gorgeous Cape surroundings they found themselves in. 

The guests we're equally spoilt by the talented staff at the Overture Restaurant , led by Bertus Basson, with a dining experience that only one of the top 5 restaurants in the country can provide. 

Kate and Kim, from Wedding Concepts  did a wonderful job with the wedding and it was great to be able to work with them again.  We we're also pleased to see Heike from Fleur Le Cordeur again. Her flowers and arrangements are just beautiful every time. She's also just super nice.
