We loved the easy-going and relaxed attitudes Pierré and Kath had towards their wedding day and the way they just enjoyed every moment as it was, without trying to control what was happening.
These guys are best friends and all they wanted to do was get married and shake their bums on the dance floor. Oh yeah - that's our kinda wedding!

Pierré and Kath planned their entire wedding from Jo'burg with the help of the lovely local ladies from Nicolette Weddings - how sweet are those little Macaroon name holders?

Craig and Karin - engaged!

Meet our amazing friends, Craig and Karin.

We spent a grey and windy weekend with them in Betty's Bay at Karin's family holiday home, running around with cameras on the beach and through the fynbos gardens, photographing their beautiful faces.

 Man-oh-man we can not wait for their wedding!

Sneak Peek: Craig and Karin

These very special two people got engaged the other day.

And we haven't been able to stop smiling.

Craig and Karin have become our closest friends in Cape Town and they are both ridiculously beautiful human beings. The four of us spent a weekend in Betty's Bay recently and we couldn't help but photograph them.

We recently celebrated our TWO year wedding anniversary :)


Two years is a big deal :) 

And we were lucky enough to cash in on the prize that we recently won from the Wedding Concepts TOP TEN images competition. Oh yes, lucky us!



So to celebrate we spent the night at The Marine Hotel in Hermanus.
We got spoilt.
Proper.

A beautiful Hotel.
In an amazing part of our country.
We drank the wild air.
And ate our fill.
Amazing sea views from our room.
Breaching whales.
Fynbos, yellow Canola fields and endless mountains.
It was a beautiful adventure.

Oh boy...

We just had to share this special picture from Stephan and Lucinda's wedding celebration, our first of this season, and one we plan to blog very soon.  It was an unusual start to a season but one that turned out to be very special indeed. The unusual (and special) part being that Maike was too ill to shoot and so Rebecca from Love Made Visible came off the bench at the very last minute to save the day.

Rebecca did a phenomenal job. Seriously. We're blown away. We had to blog just one of her many spectacular pictures from the day as a sneak peak.
