Franschhoek, Western Cape I Brad & Lili Wedding I Summer Feast

We fell in love with Brad and Lili.
It's hard not to fall in love with a damn sweet, super cute and insanely good-looking couple.
Plus Lili is related to Angus and Julia Stone (one of our all-time favourite musician faces), so that makes them awesome by default.

Brad is a South African and has been living it up down under in Oz, which is where he met Lili.
But these guys decided to get married on African soil. It was a beautiful & intimate feast of closest family and bestest friends from all over the world. They chose Auberge Clermont for the Ceremony because Lili wanted to get married under a big tree and from what she could tell on Google Maps, the venue had a huge tree. Yes this brave bride booked her venue with out even seeing it.
The reception was held under the starry night sky a little further down the road at Petite Dauphine.
It was an evening of wine, beautiful speeches, Jeremy Loops looping and a crazy-groom-singing, too much dancing and laughing, a little posing, and a super awesome bunch of people!

Champagne Valley, Drakensberg | Gareth and Carrie Wedding | Super Special Sneak Peak

We have been dying to share a sneak peak from Gareth and Carrie's wedding for way too long but we have just been too busy to find the time. The wait is now over.

Gareth and Carrie tied the knot in the epic Champagne Valley in the Drankensberg Mountains in Natal and could not have married in a more spectacular setting. Spectacular settings need spectacular couples and these two were certainly that! Easy going, up for anything and more fun than you can imagine, they really made documenting their day a breeze. They are amazing and we'll never forget them! How could we ever forget the bride that took a tumble doing the ultimate can-can and got up laughing harder than we were? It was pure gold! Thank goodness the D3s skips along at 9 frames per second or we might not have this gem to share.

Our Mini Break | Onrus, Western Cape South Africa

December is a busy time for us. Really busy actually. It's made even busier by the Christmas holiday break and New Years right at the end of it too. We covered weddings on the 30th and 31st , so to recover, and before another big run in january, we decided to catch a few days off at Kate's parents home in Onrus, just outside Hermanus (wale watching heaven) in one of the most beautiful parts of the Western Cape.

It's been all sun, sand, swimming and nothing else besides big lunches and lots of beer. We even found time to dork around in the gorgeous evening light.

We hope you have all found the time to do nothing at all these holidays. It really is good for your heart and your soul. :)
